Kitimat Lodge is located on the cliffs carved by the Kitimat River. We boast 18 suites, 12 junior suites with a double bed, as well as 6 deluxe suites with two double beds. All rooms come with a fridge and small stove, kitchenette style, as well a desk with chairs.
The history of the lodge was built in the early 1950’s and is of a Panabode log home construction. These units were the original Alcan Offices when the smelter was being built.
We have updated all the Panabode cabins (6) and have converted the Office into our Lodge and conference centre with wireless internet, fax and a cozy setting. All-inclusive clients can enjoy a hot, home cooked meal after a great day on the water, fishing, siteseeing, mountain climbing, heli-skiiing. Yes we do have it all as the town of Kitimat is located on the Saltwater of the Douglas Channel surrounded by snow-capped mountains making this a year round retreat.
We freeze and package fish for all our guests and have a guide service located right at the lodge for Freshwater and Saltwater Charters.
